About My Fiction
Writing fiction is the ultimate creative act! You create characters who then re-create you! They speak to you and change you. You create a story, and that story comes to life like a newborn child. It's your baby! It grows up and takes on its own identity. And when it does it goes out to change the world. Take my children into your life and let them touch you!

My Fiction
The Sons and Daughters of Toussaint
In this commercial fiction novel with an historical backdrop, The Sons and Daughters of Toussaint, Isaac Breda seeks to renew the revolution of his famous forefather, Toussaint Louverture. He is discouraged that a revolution that had cost so much, now had so little to show for it, and he determines to make Haiti’s freedom real. He enlists his friends, including his beautiful girlfriend, Marie-Noelle. In pursuing this quest, they are inspired by the words of Margaret Meade: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Taking on this challenge transforms both themselves and their country.
The Bridles of Armageddon
In this action/adventure thriller, the nation’s cultural war turns bloody as a right-wing demagogue believes he is God’s agent to start the Battle of Armageddon. Tired of what they perceive to be the nation’s fall from righteousness, and angry at the election of a liberal President, millions line up behind him, and soon it's full-scale war. Drew Covington, a nationally syndicated conservative columnist, and Shawna Forester, a liberal schoolteacher, are caught up in the resulting struggle and must decide where they stand. Must their nation and world be rent apart in an effort to bring heaven to earth?

Searching for Eden
In Searching for Eden, when Evan Jordan's 14-year-old daughter dies of cancer, he goes on a quest to find a place where children don't die, and where life is still good.
Evan's story intersects with those of a beautiful, divorced archaeologist and a 14-year-old Hispanic prostitute; both of whom join Evan in his quest. The three Americans are thrown into the turbulent chaos of Iran and the political turmoil surrounding that country’s nuclear capability. Evan and friends travel through Iran and Iraq, looking for clues to the Garden's reality. They dig in ancient cemeteries, climb ziggurats, race through war zones and examine bizarre art carved into human skulls, all the time seeking the secret to humanity's foundational story.
Fallen Angels: Stories Inspired by the Urban Homeless offers a poignant glimpse into the lives of those often overlooked. Though fictional, these stories are rooted in the author's real encounters while serving on the pastoral staff of an urban church. Through the church’s outreach—providing hot meals twice a week to over 300 homeless and low-income individuals—he came to know many of the people behind the labels. As he served and sat beside them, he listened to their stories. Now, he shares them with you—not to evoke pity, but to foster empathy, understanding, and a recognition of shared humanity.
